Ames Monument National Historic Landmark Dedication to be held July 8, 2017 - Friday, June 30, 2017
Ames Monument was listed as a National Historic Landmark by Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell and National Park Service Director Jonathan B. Jarvis on November 3, 2016. The dedication ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8 at Ames Monument, located south of I-80 at exit #329.
